Option #4: Top 5 pick, Paxton Lynch, Chad Kelly

The top four options are really the most serious options I would have. Anything outside of the top four options would be slightly disappointing in my eyes, and would require me some convincing.

This option is probably the least realistic of the top four options, but who knows?

I would love to see the Broncos be able to keep Paxton Lynch around for two more seasons, compete, and make good on the four-year investment they made in him. Who knows? Maybe he could beat out the top five pick.

If the Broncos were able to get Darnold/Rosen/Mayfield to pair with Lynch and Chad Kelly, they’d certainly have a young quarterback group, but a talented group and there would be no question about the youth movement in Denver.

It would also prevent John Elway from having to completely admit defeat on Lynch, as you never know what will happen injury-wise and he could shine in another opportunity with this team.
