Option #9: Paxton Lynch, Day 2 pick, & Chad Kelly

This is a scenario I see being one of the more unrealistic for the Broncos. As a matter of fact, I would put this one underneath my #10 option on the realism chart.

With that being said, I would like to see this option play out more than I would see the veteran plus Allen option play out.

Paxton Lynch plus a day two pick means you’d likely be getting someone like Mason Rudolph, Lamar Jackson, Kyle Lauletta, Mike White, or something like that. This is a very deep quarterback class, so a move like this would indicate a couple of things to me.

It would indicate first that the Broncos aren’t ‘over’ Paxton Lynch. It would also give Denver options when it comes to the day two pick either being a talented backup option, or possibly a player to come in and actually compete with Lynch for a starting job.
