Ranking the Denver Broncos top 10 quarterback scenarios
Option #1: Top 5 pick, Day 2/3 pick, Chad Kelly
What’s the ideal situation for the Broncos at quarterback this offseason?
Go all-in on the best quarterback class since 2012, and do what the Washington Redskins did that year by drafting someone in the top five as well as on day three of the draft.

This would allow the Broncos to give the keys to the franchise over to a young potential superstar while also adding some insurance with the day three (or day two, for that matter) pick.
I love this option because the Broncos’ cap space is not completely destroyed, and because they would finally be using a top asset to draft a player that could end up being the future face of the franchise.
There are three options that are most likely in this scenario at the top, and they are Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, and Baker Mayfield. Depending on what mock draft you read, the flavor changes every single day.
If the Broncos were to come away with one of those three players, and supplement that pick with another player on day two/three, it would be an exciting move for the franchise in a draft that is rich with talent at quarterback.
