Taking a look at the Denver Broncos players who are unfortunately most likely to be cap casualties ahead of free agency…

With the Denver Broncos likely looking to make a big splash at quarterback in free agency, there are unfortunately sacrifices elsewhere on the roster that have to be made.

There are also players who have not performed up to expectations of the lofty contracts they have signed, and that brings us to the topic of possible cap casualties.

The Broncos, just like every NFL team, will be forced to make difficult decisions when it comes to their cap management, and that includes releasing players they would otherwise prefer not to.

Some of these moves are not unexpected, and have in fact been expected for years given the way their contracts were laid out when they were signed. Others are unfortunate based on lack of performance and we’re going to dive into the most likely options currently facing the Broncos…
