Third Round (pick 1/2): Mike White, QB, Western Kentucky

Mike White was one of the more impressive players at the 2018 Senior Bowl this year, putting on a clinic in the early portion of the game.

He finished his college career at Western Kentucky after initially playing at South Florida, where he utilized more traditional pro-style concepts.

The way the NFL is progressing, I think White would be a great fit for what the Broncos are looking to do offensively, and I’d be much more inclined to use this type of pick on him if there was a veteran like Foles (or even Case Keenum or Tyrod Taylor) in place.

It might seem like overkill to spend two picks in a row basically on the quarterback position, but the Broncos have to get that position figured out both now and into the future.

White has a number of really intriguing game tapes, many of which come from his 2016 season when he had a better supporting cast around him at WKU.
