First Round: Quenton Nelson, OL, Notre Dame

The Broncos would be able to supplement some other needs in free agency in this scenario, because you’re not paying Foles a ton of money and you could get both Foles and Le’Veon Bell for less money combined than you would have to pay Kirk Cousins.

So, assume even the Broncos were able to fill some holes elsewhere on the roster with some budget-friendly moves in free agency, and all of a sudden, you have ultimate flexibility in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

For my money, the opportunity to add Quenton Nelson in this scenario would help fortify an area of the team that has been a weakness for far too long.

Nelson is athletic, pro-ready in terms of his strength and intelligence, and has put on a clinic the past couple of seasons of how to play on the offensive line.

If the Broncos are able to secure a QB and another offensive stud in free agency, this seems like a pretty wise route to take. You would be solidifying your line for years to come.
