The Denver Broncos, of course, present a very attractive option to free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins, but Broncos fans must realize that Denver is not the only attractive option for him.

This may seem like an obvious statement, but it needs to be discussed because Cousins’ free agent pursuit is going to be as much about the teams that want him as it is the teams Cousins wants.

All things considered, the Broncos right now are on a pretty even playing field with some teams, and may even have some disadvantages compared to other destinations for the soon-to-be highest paid quarterback ever.

Cousins has stated he wants to sign somewhere that he can win, and I think it’s easy for Broncos fans to believe they are the only team with a quarterback vacancy right now that could also be in position to win.

The Broncos are going to have some tough competition for Cousins’ services.
