It’s a new week, so therefore it’s time for a new Denver Broncos mock draft. Today, we’re going to take a look at another different scenario of how John Elway, Gary Kubiak, Matt Russell, and company will look to fix this team.

I want to look through every scenario, whether popular or not, to take a look at how this offseason could shape up for the Broncos.

In this particular scenario, I’m going to predict that the Broncos miss out on Kirk Cousins. Cousins, in this scenario, decided to take a record-setting contract from the New York Jets.

The Broncos, taking their lumps after making Cousins an offer, reached out to Sam Bradford to be a ‘bridge’ guy for them. They traded away Trevor Siemian to the Atlanta Falcons, and for the time being, have kept Paxton Lynch around along with Chad Kelly.

Since Bradford signed a relatively cheap contract in comparison to Cousins, the Broncos were able to make some other moves in free agency.

In addition to signing Bradford, the Broncos traded C.J. Anderson to the Miami Dolphins for Ja’Wuan James, a new starter at right tackle.

The Broncos also traded cornerback Aqib Talib to the Los Angeles Rams for a third round pick, and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to the Chicago Bears for a fourth round pick the Bears acquired from Arizona.

The other major move the Broncos made in this scenario was to sign former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert to a two-year ‘prove it’ contract, with the second year non-guaranteed.
