Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State

When Rashaad Penny gets into an 11-on-11 situation, he’s impossible to track down. I don’t know how he does it, but this is a guy that finds ways to make people miss in the open field with remarkable consistency.

Penny is probably expected at this point to be a second round pick, so he may be out of the Broncos’ range when all is said and done considering some of their other needs, but he’s the type of player that could be a really effective featured back at the next level.

I love the way he uses vision and patience in his game, but when he sees an opening in the defense, he has excellent burst and acceleration to hit the hole with confidence.

Penny’s big play ability as a running back, receiver, and returner has me intrigued about his next-level potential.
