GLENDALE, AZ – DECEMBER 30: Running back Saquon Barkley /

First Round

Saquon Barkley. 5. player. 45. Last year’s class consisted of running back Leonard Fournette. A force of nature at 240 pounds and ability to run 4.4 in the 40. This year, another thoroughbred is ready to rumble in Saquon Barkley. Barkley is powerful as a runner, but shows impeccable balance to stay on his feet and move forward. He runs with power like David Johnson and the balance of Le’Veon Bell. Barkley even gets down low enough to see holes develop. This is an extremely rare trait in backs today. It is no sure thing Barkley is there at five, but in this scenario, Broncos cannot pass it up.. Running Back. Penn State

There are similiarites between Devontae Booker and Saquon Barkley. However, Barkley is more fine tuned and ready to make an impact from day one. Barkley can revolutionize a backfield the minute he is drafted. With C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles possibly on the outside looking in, Barkley is the prime candidate to take the starting role. He would be the Broncos feature back for a long time.
