Draft Recap

So, after all the dust settles, this would be a really intriguing scenario for the Broncos. Who knows what else would transpire in order to keep the team under the salary cap, what additional moves they would make, and what the fate of Paxton Lynch, Trevor Siemian, and Chad Kelly would be, but that’s part of the fun of these exercises.

You really get to fill in the holes.

While bringing in Tyrod Taylor may not be everyone’s number one option at this point, it could lead to a very nice scenario in the draft for the Broncos if things fall like this.

I don’t know that all of these players will be available at Denver’s picks, but there are scenarios in which it makes sense they would be.

In this particular scenario, the Broncos’ plan would probably be to try and compete with Tyrod for a year, maybe two while developing Jackson and making him their new priority over Lynch. Then, the Broncos would have an offense that includes Tyrod/Jackson along with Saquon Barkley, Demaryius Thomas, maybe Emmanuel Sanders, Carlos Henderson, Jake Butt, and whoever else at the skill spots with an offensive line of Garett Bolles, Isaiah Wynn, Matt Paradis, Ron Leary, and Cyrus Kouandjio/Chukwuma Okorafor.

I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sound too bad to me.
