Fourth Round (pick 2/2): Tim Settle, DT, Virginia Tech

One position I would love to see the Broncos address at some point on day three, perhaps early in the fourth round like this, is the one-technique defensive tackle position.

We’ve seen over the past few seasons the importance of that position as it relates to every other player on the field in Denver’s defense.

Tim Settle was a breakout player on a very talented Virginia Tech defense this past year at the nose tackle position, and I think would be a nice developmental piece for the Broncos. He’s capable of occupying blockers, of course, but at his size he’s athletically impressive and capable of disrupting plays all on his own.

He will be 20 years old when he’s drafted this year, and while he might require some patience, his talent is worth developing.
