Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Trevor Siemian is a Florida native, so I put a couple of teams on this list that would be interesting landing spots both in trade and if Siemian were able to pick his spot to go and play as a free agent.

Why would the Buccaneers be a fit?

Well, their backup quarterback is Ryan Fitzpatrick, and he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent at the age of 35. The Bucs could view Siemian as an upgrade in their backup quarterback spot and at a cheaper overall price.

I think Siemian would be a great pickup for the Bucs, who could maybe offer the Broncos a conditional 2019 draft pick if Siemian makes their final roster in 2018, or something like that. It wouldn’t have to be a huge return for Denver, and they couldn’t expect that with Siemian only having one year left on his rookie contract at this point, but I could see the Bucs being a good fit for Siemian and vice versa.
