Running Back/Fullback

Akrum Wadley, Iowa
Kalen Ballage, Arizona State
Trey Flowers, Oklahoma (FB)
Jaylen Samuels, North Carolina State (FB)

When all is said and done, this likely will not be the full group the Broncos have to work with at running back. They may add one or two more players at running back specifically after it was announced that Royce Freeman would not be participating after accepting his invite initially.

Freeman, having played at Oregon, would have been a lock for Denver’s roster here.

Fortunately, we will get to see the Broncos’ coaching staff working with Akrum Wadley, whom I believe to be one of the most versatile backs in this year’s draft.

We also get to see Baker Mayfield work with one of his favorite offensive weapons in fullback/h-back Trey Flowers, who made some big plays in the passing game for the Sooners.
