The former Nebraska star and Boulder high school standout was a fifth round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers three years ago, but thus far, he’s been unable to turn his great career as a Husker into a successful NFL career.
Bell was most recently with the Baltimore Ravens, and has excellent vertical speed, and will add to a very intriguing group of receivers in Denver this offseason.
Bell shows traits as a receiver from his college days that indicate to me he has potential as a number two receiver and the Broncos could benefit from the competition he brings to the table.
I remember evaluating Bell coming out of college and loved his competitiveness and will never forget his famous crackback block on a punt return.
This guy will be fun to watch this offseason.
