Third Round (pick 2/2): Bo Scarbrough, RB, Alabama

This year’s draft class is loaded at the running back position, but to me, Bo Scarbrough is perhaps the riskiest pick of them all.

More from Predominantly Orange

Scarbrough has size and athleticism, no doubt, but like some others on this list, his listed height, weight, and speed don’t match his on-field production.

The best version of Scarbrough we saw at Alabama looked like a first round running back, but there were far too many lulls in between those great moments where I was forced to wonder if this guy had an NFL future at all.

Add in injury issues, and if some team reaches on Scarbrough before day three, I think it could end up being a colossal mistake.

The Broncos need a powerful back from this draft class, and someone who could preferably do a little bit of everything well, and I don’t think Scarbrough is that guy at this point in time.

To me, there are much better values at this position in the 2018 draft class.
