The Denver Broncos have shown their willingness to take risks in the NFL Draft under John Elway. He’s a risky/scary mock draft scenario for 2018…

We’ve taken a number of opportunities to look at ideal scenarios for the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft, but what about the scary, risky scenarios no one even wants to discuss?

If you’re like me, you dismiss these scenarios as unrealistic because you just don’t want them to happen.

We almost attempt to speak something into existence, or speak something out of existence altogether, to try and avoid something we simply don’t want to happen at all.

Now, this is the type of scenario that is realistic enough to have the actual potential to happen. This isn’t just an exercise where we look at the most ridiculous reaches the Broncos could make, like taking a kicker in the first round or something stupid like that.

We aren’t just talking about making bad picks here, we’re talking about making some of the most risky or questionable picks based on players who would fit the team’s positions of need at this particular moment in time.
