4. Broncos not giving up on Paxton?

If the Broncos signed Tyrod Taylor, they wouldn’t necessarily have to give up on Paxton Lynch.

I know, I know.

Just hear me out.

The Broncos may have been encouraged enough by Lynch’s last start of the season that they might want to give him a fair shot this offseason to at least compete for a job. That would make a guy like Tyrod Taylor make a lot more sense.

If Lynch is even somewhat capable of becoming the player the Broncos thought he could be, it would make sense for them to not just rule him out as an option by making a play for a guy like Cousins.

If Denver feels it may still have something in Lynch, Taylor could be an attractive option in that regard because you’re not committing to him long-term.
