Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints

If the Denver Broncos were able to land Drew Brees, it would be the blockbuster move of the free agency season. John Elway was able to get Peyton Manning to the Mile High City. If he felt like Drew Brees could help the team right now, I have no doubt he would do what it takes to take care of that.

I do not think the Saints would outright release him. It would cost so much against them. Despite the potential out in his contract, he could cost them $18 million against them. The only option is via trade if the Broncos wanted to go after Drew Brees. If they were able to pull it off, it would be something to see. However, depending on how far the Saints go in the postseason could determine his fate in the Big Easy.
