Bradley Roby, Cornerback

The Denver Broncos secondary took another step in evolving as Bradley Roby established a name for himself.

In 2017, Roby showed that he can be a starting cornerback on 30 other NFL teams. In the Broncos 3-4 scheme Roby started opposite of Aqib Talib on the outside, while Chris Harris Jr covered the inside receivers.

Roby’s toughest game this season came in the Broncos loss to the Bengals where Roby gave up two scores.

Roby was difficult on himself in his post-game evaluations. Displaying resiliency, he responded and finished off the season on a high note.

He accounted for 17 passes defended which tied a Broncos franchise record previously set by Aqib Talib in 2014. He proved to be a reliable asset for the Broncos defensive backfield.

Roby was key in coverage against elite WR’s like Dez Bryant in the Broncos 42-10 victory in Week 2. He was a strong presence in assisting in stopping the run as well.

The Broncos have Roby’s services for another season before facing the situation of paying him a well deserved contract extension.
