Corey Nelson Could Be The Broncos Best In House Candidate

Corey Nelson is an in house candidate that could step up in 2018.

However, Nelson will be an unrestricted free agent in 2018, and could be a cheaper option than any of the guys I listed.

Coming off a season ending surgery to repair a torn ligament in his elbow, Nelson was a player who stepped up for the Broncos in 2016 and 2017.

He served as a fill in for Marshall in 2016 and Todd Davis in 2017 before suffering a season ending injury.

Nelson has shown the ability to be a run stopper and a player who can cover tight ends fairly well. Keep Corey Nelson in your minds as the Broncos address free agency this off-season.
