Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jets

Austin Seferian-Jenkins has had his issues since coming to the NFL in 2014, but he’s also developed into a very nice player at the tight end position.

I think with ASJ, the key is upside. He has excellent size, pass-catching ability, and really the ability to do what a lot of tight ends in this league can’t, and that’s play effectively in-line.

He’s only 25 years old, and the Broncos had a scouting contingent at his pro day back in 2014 when he was first coming into the league.

There’s going to have to be some personal digging done here, because Seferian-Jenkins was basically kicked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite having tremendous promise as a player.

The Jets have had him the past two seasons, and I would say he’s rebounded quite nicely.

Already entering his fifth NFL season, it’s pretty rare for a player that is 25 to be hitting the market like this. He could be very highly sought after, and I think the Broncos will be in the mix for his services if he checks out off the field.
