The 2011 NFL Draft will go down as one of the greatest of all time that found the Denver Broncos selecting the face of their franchise: Von Miller. There’s plenty of uncertainty at numerous positions for the Broncos going into 2018, however.

Quarterback is the team’s top need followed by offensive tackle, wide receiver, running back, and linebacker. In this particular scenario, the Denver Broncos move away from Kirk Cousins, whom they will target “hard” in the offseason.

Plenty of time will change what happens between now April, but we expect a new starting quarterback under center in 2018.

That means Paxton Lynch’s evaluation will continue to be halted. Also, Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler more than likely are headed elsewhere. Change is coming, embrace it.

Linebacker is another position that will get a makeover. Todd Davis and Corey Nelson will be free agents potentially playing on different teams. This leaves a hole for the Broncos on the defense.

Certain players might be of high interest in the early rounds. This mock draft will project the Broncos to add a linebacker early.

Lastly, the Broncos could see huge change at the wide receiver and the running back positions.

Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas are entering their 30s, while Cody Latimer is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. C.J. Anderson finds himself with an uncertain future. Jamaal Charles is a free agent. That leaves Devontae Booker as starter heading into the new season.

Look for the Broncos to attack both positions hard in free agency and the draft.

Fast forward to this mock draft, where the Broncos add plenty of playmakers at multiple positions of need. Let’s see who they choose…
