Draft Recap

With this draft, the Broncos would have solidified their offensive line on paper.

More from Predominantly Orange

I would anticipate Orlando Brown staying at left tackle, moving Bolles over to the right side, giving Denver a starting five of Brown, Will Hernandez, Matt Paradis/Connor McGovern, Ron Leary, and Bolles.

That line with Cousins under center and a core group of skill players that includes Demaryius Thomas, Devontae Booker, De’Angelo Henderson, Cody Latimer (if he’s re-signed), Carlos Henderson, Jake Butt, and others would be a very solid group.

Defensively, Denver doesn’t have to do too much. Adding Josey Jewell gives you an instant starter at one of the linebacker positions, and the Broncos have more than enough depth at other positions on the roster to supplement any losses or necessary cap casualties.

This is a draft that I think could stabilize Denver’s roster for the foreseeable future, even if the picks aren’t overly ‘sexy’.
