2nd Round: Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP

The addition of Sean Kugler in Denver, specifically with his role coaching the guards and centers, makes this pick make the most sense of any in mock drafts going forth.

Kugler was the head coach at UTEP during Will Hernandez’ reign of dominance at the left guard position, where he allowed just two pressures the past two seasons combined, and started 49 straight games.

This guy is an absolute beast, and would be the perfect complement at guard to Ron Leary on the other side.

Leary proved he can be an elite level right guard, but the Broncos still have an issue on the other side with Max Garcia playing inconsistent football all year.

Hernandez is NFL-ready in terms of size and play strength, and will have a chance to show Denver at the Senior Bowl what he’s made of against some of the top competition in the country.
