1st Round: Orlando Brown, Tackle, Oklahoma

Orlando Brown is a massive 6-foot-8, 345 pound (listed) offensive tackle with good movement skills, length, and a deadly initial hand punch.

When Brown gets his hands on you, you’re done.

You can see it in a variety of his games this season, and the unanimous selection for the All-American team proves on a play-by-play basis why he should be considered a top 10 (or in this case, top five) pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Brown decided to leave school with one year of eligibility remaining, and rightly so. There was a lot of buzz created over this block he made on a fellow All-American in Georgia’s Roquan Smith:

If the Broncos sign Kirk Cousins, this type of a pick becomes much more likely in the early portion of the first round. Denver could just as easily pick someone like Notre Dame’s Quinton Nelson or Texas’ Connor Williams, both of whom would be considered as the possible top offensive linemen in this year’s draft, but Brown may soon become part of that group with his rare size and athleticism.

He would slide in at either tackle position, depending where the Broncos felt most comfortable with Garett Bolles moving forward.
