Jordan Taylor, Wide Receiver

Jordan Taylor has gone from a cool side character in the story of Peyton Manning’s final season to a potentially key piece of the Denver Broncos’ future.

We’ve all heard about Taylor’s work with Manning in 2015, when he was on Denver’s practice squad, as well as his incredible one-handed catches in training camp. But to see Taylor doing this in an NFL game now is fantastic.

He’s making tough, contested catches, using his 6-foot-5 frame and body control to give his quarterback a very tough target for defenses to guard.

He finished the game against the Chiefs with six catches for 65 yards, and had a seventh catch for a huge gain down the sideline wiped away when replay showed one of his feet just barely touched out of bounds before he could complete the catch.

Taylor looks like a weapon going forward, and should be considered a big piece of the Broncos’ future.
