Hollywood has eyes set on possibly making the Denver Broncos the featured team on the famous TV show “Hard Knocks”…

The long featured HBO series “Hard Knocks” documents an NFL franchise through the preseason and the potential moves they make. Another element of the show is seeing a behind the scenes side of a team.

Next season, the Denver Broncos are a candidate to be chosen.

The Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams are just a few teams recently represented in the reality documentary.

If the Denver Broncos are chosen for “Hard Knocks” there’s an element to the team that fits the bill. The entire front office of the Broncos spends a majority of its pre-draft analysis studying possible undrafted free agents.

Since GM and President of Football Operations John Elway entered the executive office in the Mile High City, there are great stories of undrafted players making the 53-man roster.

Both CJ Anderson and Chris Harris Jr. are examples of a story worthy of of “Hard Knocks.” There will almost assuredly be a wide variety of 2018 undrafted players that will fight for a spot.

There is a significant negative side of the opportunity to choose the Denver Broncos as a “Hard Knocks” team. The defense is very vocal. It’s beneficial for players to speak their minds on how they feel, but it’s another thing to air it publicly for all to see.

It is this unpredictability of the moment that should only be held between front office and player. The classified information should never be aired.

However, television does a great job of eliminating these potential scenarios. It is certainly a boom or bust opportunity for the Broncos.
