The Denver Broncos’ disappointing season ends Sunday as they entertain the Kansas City Chiefs. Beth Mowins is the best story of the day.

As the Denver Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, the best thing is sportscaster Beth Mowins. Mowins will be calling the game for CBS and is the part of illustrious history.

If the Broncos beat the Chiefs Sunday, perhaps chairman/CEO/president Joe Ellis should hire her. This would make the Broncos 2-0 in divisional games with her on the call. In said propitious scenario, it represents the best vibes the Broncos have had all season.

For some reason, the Broncos have decided to trot out Paxton Lynch as QB. I personally think all of the QB’s on the Broncos’ active roster are trash. I do think that 2017 NFL Draft Mr. Irrelevant recipient Chad Kelly should get a long look next season.

As for now, I fell out of love officially with QB Brock Osweiler for his conduct against Washington. The film clearly depicts him berating teammates after he’s the one who turned it over. Anyway, the Chiefs are locked in securely as the AFC’s #4 seed, having won the AFC West.

There is no need for Kansas City to risk QB Alex Smith’s health before wild card weekend. Thus, the Chiefs will have prized 2017 1st round draft pick Patrick Mahomes under center Sunday. Mahomes, a 6’3″ 225-pound signal-caller out of Texas Tech comes in with great credentials. He once threw for an NCAA-tying 734 yards in a game but this is his first pro experience.

Here’s a look at this week’s injury report, provided by the Chiefs’ Web site. As you can see, the Broncos have the same injury problems at receiver they had against the Redskins. Should the Broncos lose, head coach Vance Joseph may not return. Thus, there’s something to watch for.

We’ll see if FOX 31 meteorologist Jessica Lebel’s forecast is lucky. We’ve not used her’s yet.

KOA News Radio has also said throughout the week a chance of flurries exists during the game. If you go, dress warmly, and there should be plenty of good seats. In any event, this is your game thread. If any Chiefs fans happen upon us, treat them kindly. This is, of course, the Broncos’ way. GO BRONCOS!!!
