4th Round (pick 1/2): Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

Early on day three, I think the Broncos will again look to supplement their offensive weaponry, and getting a very underrated player like Sony Michel would be just what the doctor ordered.

There’s no guarantee we’ll see C.J. Anderson back in Denver next season, and if that’s the case, the Broncos may need to turn to the draft to supplement their depth at the position with only Devontae Booker and De’Angelo Henderson under contract for next season, in addition to Anderson.

Michel has stood out as an NFL prospect despite the presence of another NFL-caliber running back in the fray in Nick Chubb.

Many feel Michel has the bigger pro potential of the two.

Michel has plenty of burst and vision, and can break off big chunk runs as well as he can wear down defenses between the tackles.

He’s averaging over seven yards per carry this season and would be a nice rotational piece for Denver’s backfield.
