The Denver Broncos are going to make some significant changes this offseason. Could Heisman winner Baker Mayfield be part of the solution?

The Denver Broncos are scouting quarterbacks for the up-coming 2018 NFL Draft, and it looks like this team is getting ready to make wholesale changes in what could prove to be the most critical offseason in John Elway’s reign.

Elway has assembled some of the best rosters in the NFL over the past six years, but the past two seasons, Denver has been plagued by terrible quarterback play, and it has to get fixed as soon as possible.

Elway knows that, which is why he’s making appearances at the Idaho Potato Bowl, checking out top quarterback prospects and making sure he makes the right decision for this team moving forward.

Not that Elway needs my input, but I’m here to offer some ideas anyway. After their loss to the Washington Redskins, the Broncos hold the 6th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. That could change yet again over the weekend as Denver plays host to the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Broncos could be picking as high as fourth overall, or as low as 12th.

Let’s take a look at a scenario over four rounds of what the Broncos could look to do to get this team back to its winning ways.
