Denver Broncos Running Back Jamaal Charles has not had the plethora of chances that we all thought he would have. Now it appears he wants out of Denver.

When the Denver Broncos signed Jamaal Charles during the offseason, it was believed that he was going to be a big part of this rushing offense. With C.J. Anderson, Charles would help him run all over defenses.

Sadly, that has not happened this season. Charles only has 69 carries for 296 yards and one touchdown. The touchdown came in Week Three against the Buffalo Bills. A lot in Broncos Country have been wondering why he has not played in the offense a whole lot. Ever since the Monday Night game in Kansas City, his touches have been less and less.

Now, according to his conversation with The Denver Post, Jamaal Charles wants out of Denver. In the last three games, he did not receive a carry in the two wins and was a healthy scratch last Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

“I ain’t playing. Might as well.” Charles said. “No reason for me to just sit around and look at people play.”

I honestly do not blame him at all for his frustration. Honestly, he has not been given a fair chance to show what he can do. This was a guy who would do damage against the Broncos during his time in Kansas City. Why are the other running backs getting carries and not Charles?

In my opinion, this has to do with coaching. I could be wrong, but I do not think they can handle splitting between three backs. Plus, the team has gone away from the run early most of the season. That is especially true during the eight game losing streak.

We will see if the Denver Broncos will look to sign Charles for 2018. With his comments, I am not certain he wants to come back.
