LANDOVER, MD - DECEMBER 24: Quarterback Brock Osweiler

Another Christmas meltdown for the second year in a row. The Denver Broncos were completely outclassed by the Washington Redskins.

It is almost unheard of that the Denver Broncos would suffer double digit losses. Also what is unheard of is the team having a losing record against the NFC. Going 1-3 against NFC teams?

Bah! Humbug!

The Denver Broncos suffered their tenth loss of the season as the team fell to the Washington Redskins. The offense was completely out of sync. The defense gave up some big time plays. It was like being haunted by Jacob Marley for 60 minutes.

Seeing the Denver Broncos this season has been like a bad nightmare. Like The Grinch stealing Christmas. I could go on and on with Christmas puns. All Denver Broncos fans wanted for Christmas is a win before the big holiday. But for the second year in a row, Broncos Country hearts are broken.

Brock Osweiler’s performace was putrid. If Paxton Lynch can go next Sunday, it is time to see what he can do. There is no doubt the Broncos will be looking for a quarterback this offseason.

Perhaps the only bright spot of the game for the Broncos was C.J. Anderson. And the Broncos were able to see what Kirk Cousins could bring to the team. Maybe Cousins is the answer at quarterback? We will find out sometime this offseason.

The Denver Broncos finish the season an abysmal 1-7 on the road. It is almost unheard of to see the Broncos do so poorly on the road.

Denver finishes the nightmare season at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. Not counting on a win here, but it could be the difference between players and coaches having jobs or not.

The loss is tough, but I wish all of Broncos Country a very Merry Christmas.
