Jordan Moore, DB

Jordan Moore, a rookie defensive back out of UTSA, is a very interesting study.

When you watch his highlights, you can see his raw athleticism on display. The key for the Broncos?

Harness that raw athleticism, and make this kid into a good football player.

Moore was a wide receiver at TCU and stopped playing football in 2014 before going to LSU to run track, which he is incredibly good at.

Moore is listed at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, and can run a 4.41 second 40-yard dash. He was a hurdler and sprinter at LSU, and a former All-American one at that.

He was a graduate transfer to UTSA, where he put together some highlight reel plays defensively, despite not having played football in a few years.

Moore was signed originally as an undrafted player by the Atlanta Falcons, and played in two preseason games for them. Having an offseason in an NFL program will do him wonders, and the Broncos see the potential there.

He looks to me like a perfect linebacker/safety hybrid — not unlike Jamal Carter — who could star on special teams with his speed and athleticism.
