The Denver Broncos appear to have brought back slot receiver prospect River Cracraft to their practice squad, per his Twitter account…
A couple of months ago, the Denver Broncos brought in former Washington State wide receiver River Cracraft for their practice squad when Hunter Sharp’s presence on the active roster was required due to injuries.
Cracraft, unfortunately, was hurt almost immediately in practice with the Broncos, and was waived/injured shortly after signing.
It was extremely unfortunate for Cracraft, who was excited about the opportunity obviously, and had not really gotten the chance to show what he could do over a significant period of time after impressing in his workout with the team.
Now, it appears Cracraft has re-entered the fray for the Denver Broncos. Here’s what he posted on his Twitter account early on Monday:

Here’s a quick look at what Cracraft was doing in practice before he was injured. This is him going one-on-one against third round pick Brendan Langley:

The first tweet appears to be Cracraft at the Broncos’ facility sitting next to a whiteboard with the Broncos’ schedule, the NFL playoff schedule, and magnets with names and information of players on injured reserve.
So, probably a board that has the whole roster on it.
At the table with Cracraft appears to be a contract and some new gear, so if you connect the dots here, it looks like he’s signing back on with the team to one of their two remaining practice squad spots.
The Broncos obviously liked him enough to sign him to the practice squad over even current practice squad receiver Tim Patrick back in October, and now he’s back with the team and healthy.
The addition of Cracraft still leaves the Broncos with one practice squad spot to fill, and we’re guessing they fill that at some point on Monday, so keep your eyes peeled for some more news.
