With Trevor Siemian injured, Brock Osweiler came into the game for the Denver Broncos. His performance led the Broncos to a second straight win.

Who would have thought that a quarterback other than Trevor Siemian would lead the Denver Broncos to a win this season? Well Broncos Country, Brock Osweiler came off the bench to do that.

45. Final. 13. 46. 25

After Trevor Siemian left the game with a shoulder injury, some of Broncos Country, including myself, were a bit skeptical. But Brock Osweiler proved the doubters wrong. He led the Denver Broncos to their first road win of the season.

It only took seven road games to do that. But at least the Broncos avoided another bad historical feat. It has been since the 1960s since the Broncos lost every road game of the season.

C.J. Anderson and Cody Latimer also get my game balls for the game. Anderson went over 100 yards rushing for the first time this season. The running game was rolling on all cylinders since Brock Osweiler took over.

Cody Latimer had himself a game too. He had some spectacular catches. One of them went for a touchdown that looked like a Madden game. He has quietly had a solid year and could be considered for a new contract during the 2018 offseason.

The Denver Broncos now sit at 5-9 on the season. Earlier it was reported that Vance Joseph’s job was safe, but it would depend on how the final three games went as well. This win on the road could really help his chances of staying. He was able to adjust after falling behind and get the win.

Denver travels to Washington for their final road game of the season as they take on the Redskins on Christmas Eve. Ten days to prepare. But what a win tonight! Go Broncos!
