There’s no doubt about it — the Denver Broncos have to improve their roster. How can they utilize 2018 free agency to do so? Here are some ideas…

The Denver Broncos are obviously not contending for the playoffs in 2017, so we’re looking ahead to how this team can get better in 2018.

John Elway has obviously used free agency to make his team better, and he’s utilized it probably better than most general managers in the NFL since Elway took over the Broncos in 2011.

Elway has brought in a number of Pro Bowl players through free agency, namely guys like Peyton Manning, DeMarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, Darian Stewart, T.J. Ward, and Emmanuel Sanders. This past offseason, Elway brought in one of the best guards in the NFL in Ron Leary.

Armed with cap space and a roster in need of some renovations and upgrades, it’s not out of the question to think Elway will be very aggressive when it comes to making roster moves this offseason.

What areas will he look to in free agency? Where do the Broncos need proven veteran help versus waiting until the draft to supplement?

Here are four players it wouldn’t be shocking to see Elway pursue come March, 2018…
