The Denver Broncos have been routed two weeks in a row, and look like they are easily the worst-coached team in the NFL today…

What are the telltale signs of a poorly coached football team? The Denver Broncos are basically showing you all of them at this point.

Following their fifth straight loss of the 2017 season and their second really ugly loss in a row at the hands of the New England Patriots, it’s apparent that the Denver Broncos are the worst coached team in the NFL right now.

There are a number of things I would look for in a poorly coached team, and here are just a few…

1. The talent doesn’t play up to its potential

The Denver Broncos don’t have the greatest situation at quarterback and on the offensive line, but a well-coached team would not be playing as poorly as they are with the talent they have on defense and at the skill positions offensively.

The Broncos do not seem to out-coach anyone, or at least they haven’t since they played the Dallas Cowboys back in week two.

Specifically lately, the defense has been incredibly bad. They have been exploited despite great strength against the run and in the secondary.

What gives?
