Champ Bailey’s Interception for the Ages

This one was a write-in from a Broncos fan. And what a moment this was. The Denver Broncos made their long awaited home playoff appearance since John Elway’s retirement with a bang. Going up against the defending Super Bowl champs was no easy task.

Denver was leading 10-6 with the Patriots driving when Brady was forced to throw under pressure on a third and goal. He found Troy Brown, but Champ Bailey jumped the route perfectly and intercepted Brady. He ran all the way down the sideline. Just before he could reach the end zone, Benjamin Watson made a touchdown-saving tackle. The Broncos would score on the following drive.

This the longest non pick six in NFL history. And it was a surreal moment for Broncos fans. Champ Bailey was one of the best corners to ever play for the Broncos.
