We return with another edition of the Denver Broncos Fanzone as I bring back a good friend in Taylor Rylant and get her takes.

The Denver Broncos are in a rough patch right now. However, a huge win against the defending Super Bowl Champs could be exactly what the doctor ordered to get the team back into it.

During the last four games, the Broncos have not been clicking on all cylinders. An in-explainable loss to the Giants, getting shutout by the Chargers, making things interesting against the Chiefs but falling, and then the embarrassing blowout loss to the Eagles. At this rate, my heart is breaking.

But there is still a chance to get back into it. The Broncos are three games back with eight games remaining. Even then, they can still claw their way to a wild card birth. Once that happens, anything can happen.

Can the Broncos begin their train ride to the postseason with a win against the New England Patriots? We will have to wait and see. For now, we focus on the game on Sunday and on this week’s fanzone.

I have decided to bring back a good friend in Taylor Rylant. I interviewed her last season. Let us see what she has to say about the Broncos and this weekend’s game against New England.

The Denver Broncos just cannot seem to get out of this slump. What do you think is the biggest reason behind this current four game losing streak?

It’s been a rough couple of weeks! Unfortunately, I think it is a combination of coaching and the offensive line. Due to the fact that our offensive line is borderline awful, we can’t establish a passing game, and we can’t establish any sort of offensive power. Our offense is just not two dimensional. Our coach is not switching things up and adjusting. He is going with what is tried and true, and we have the tools, but the metaphorical battery is dead on our team right now.

The Broncos currently sit at 3-5 with eight games remaining on their schedule. It is still possible for them to get to the playoffs, but what do you think this team needs to do in order to make that a reality?

We will need to fight tooth and nail moving forward, but we absolutely can make it to the playoffs. The Broncos can’t be counted out yet! Denver absolutely has a tough schedule ahead of us, and in order for us to make it a reality we need every part of the team to really sit down and determine what the goal for the season is. Are we rebuilding, or are we going to play like we should and win those games? The coaches need to make the necessary changes to win, and the players need a fire lit under them. They have so much to prove moving forward.

The Broncos quarterback situation has been the subject of a lot of conversations. In your words, do you think the answer at quarterback is on the roster or will it come via free agency or the draft next season?

I have always loved Siemian, and I wouldn’t completely count him out yet, but he might need some more time to grow. I believe that our quarterback for next season will come from free agency in the off season.

The Denver Broncos return home after their long road trip. However, they welcome the New England Patriots. The task is going to be daunting, but what do you think the Broncos need to do in order to get the win?

In order to beat the Cheatriots this week we are going to need the defense to step up in a big way. Right now we can’t completely rely on our offensive line to get the win, so we are going to need to see our defense take on a big role and defeat this team. We are going to need to push this team in a huge way and this defense can do it.

Which player do you think will need to step up on Sunday?

Brock Osweiler is going to need to step it up big time during this game. We cannot have any interceptions, and we cannot have incomplete passes. We need to see big plays like the ones we had last year when  we faced this team. His career in Denver is relying on this game, in my opinion.
