The Eagles welcome the Denver Broncos to Lincoln Financial Field. What do you think it will take to get a win?

As mentioned, the Broncos are one of those teams that I thought Philly might come up short against. The pass rush scares me. Those corners scare me. The receiving corps is good enough to give our secondary problems.

There’s another side though. Once I started paying attention, I saw a rookie head coach who’s finding his way. I see a struggling Trevor Siemian, and I feel like there may be opportunities. I’m not sure who’d be favored in this one, maybe the Eagles because they’re at home, but at this point of the season, I feel like the Eagles losing this one isn’t a foregone conclusion like I once thought it was.

If Philly plays the way I’ve seen them play over the last month, plays sound defense and runs the ball with some consistency, this may be a win that surprises some people, myself included.

Name one player on the Eagles that has impressed you so far this season.

Actually, there are a few. Tight end Zach Ertz has grown into that go-to guy that we all hoped he could be. Nelson Agholor’s turnaround has been both a welcome surprise and one of the reasons for the offense’s success. Then, there’s been huge contributions from the backfield. LeGarrette Blount has proven there’s plenty of tread left on the tire..Corey Clement has proven he deserves to be in the NFL. Kenjon Barner is making the most of a second chance with this team.

One defense, thanks to injury, young guys have been asked to come in and contribute and they have. Rasul Douglas is a stud. Jalen Mills has taken the next step. Derek Barnett, despite a slow start has come on in recent weeks. I’m extremely proud of this team, and it’s been a joy to watch them grow after Chip Kelly, seemingly, attempted to gut them from the inside.

I have no complaints.
