The Denver Broncos conclude their three game road trip with a rare visit to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. I preview the matchup here.

Vance Joseph and the Denver Broncos have a tough task ahead of them. And they will be going into hostile territory with a familiar face on his second stint with the team. Brock Osweiler will be the new starting quarterback for the Broncos on Sunday. They conclude their three game road trip with a visit to Philadelphia.

Awaiting for them is the best team in the league, record wise. The Eagles have been one of the bigger surprises this season. They currently sit at 7-1 on the year and look like a powerhouse in the NFC.

Having Brock Osweiler go up against the best team in the NFL right now is going to be a daunting task. But I believe that the defense has what it takes. However, the big question is will the offense be able to improve with a new signal caller under center?

This definitely feels like deja vu from the 2015 season. But will we see a similar result? We will have eight more games after this one to see if that becomes a reality.

But for now, we turn our attention to the Broncos third NFC opponent they will face this season. Let us look at the Tale of the Tape.

What to Watch For

How does Brock Osweiler perform?

This is perhaps going to be the most talked about question surrounding the Broncos going into this game. How will the return of Brock Osweiler impact the Denver Broncos offense? It will be interesting to see if the offense gets better with a new signal caller.

With the roller coaster that Osweiler has been on, will we see the 2015 Osweiler that helped lead the Broncos to five wins out of seven? Or will we see the 2016 Osweiler from the Texans, who was benched towards the end of the season and threw 16 interceptions?

How will the defense do against the Eagles offense?

Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense have a tough task ahead of them. As far as an entire defensive unit is concerned, this could be the most complete one they have faced all season. If this game comes down to one final drive, I have faith the Broncos defense will be able to do their job.

Prediction

With a quarterback change, this could be a do or die situation for the Denver Broncos. If they can find a way to win this game, they will still have a shot at the postseason. The next two weeks are going to be crucial.

I am more interested to see how Carson Wentz responds against the Broncos defense. If the Ground Control can shut down the running game, how will Wentz perform knowing the defense will force him to put the team on his shoulders?

I believe this becomes a low to moderate scoring game. With the season possibly on the line, the Broncos defense makes one final stop to earn them the win and move back to .500.
