There’s no reason to think the Broncos won’t double dip on the offensive line in this draft, and here we give them one of the more consistent tackles in the Pac 12.
Crosby has graded well as both a run blocker and pass protector for the Ducks, but injuries cut short his 2016 season.

He played the right tackle position in 2015, so he has some experience there, and that’s obviously where the Broncos need to groom a potential starter. In addition to his experience there, Crosby’s experience at left tackle would make him an ideal swing tackle, as he’s a player that has some upside and is someone that looks like he has starter abilities.
At this point, if you’re the Broncos, you’re just picking the best possible linemen and seeing what sticks. You really can’t afford to be ‘content’ with what you have. There needs to be competition, and there needs to be depth.
The Broncos haven’t had any sort of depth on the offensive line in a long, long time. Despite the fact that Ty Sambrailo and Michael Schofield have now both played significant snaps for other teams this season, the Broncos’ depth up front has been atrocious since March.
There’s no depth if there’s no legitimate talent, and that is what the Broncos have lacked.
Adding Crosby along with the earlier projected pick of Ivey could really go a long way for the Broncos, especially if a veteran right tackle is acquired.
