Double-dipping on the offensive side of the football to start this draft, here in the second round we address one of the glaring issues at either left guard or right tackle.

The Broncos can ill-afford another season with as poor of offensive tackle play as we’ve seen from right tackles this year, as every single player that has stepped into that role has struggled badly.

For this reason, I think we could see the Broncos make some kind of trade for a right tackle who is already playing at a high level in the NFL. That would make this pick of Ivey one where he would play left guard, where a fellow former Florida Gator is struggling badly.

Max Garcia is the Broncos’ current starter at left guard, and has been one of the team’s worst players offensively this season. Ivey could step in and start there for the team as a rookie, or he could play right tackle.

He played two seasons of left guard for the Gators before moving to left tackle this year, so he’s obviously someone the coaches trust to put in a new position and play well.
