If you want an indicator of how bad things are for the Broncos right now at the right tackle position, consider the following.

Menelik Watson, one of the worst tackles in football, is the starter. When he’s not able to play due to injury, the Broncos have rotated between three different guys now: Donald Stephenson, Allen Barbre, and Billy Turner.

The Broncos have no answer at the right tackle position, and even when healthy, Turner wasn’t the answer either.

After getting his biggest opportunity since joining the Broncos on Sunday night, Turner suffered a broken hand, and had surgery to repair it on Monday.

There’s no telling how long he will be out from this point forward, but this is not a good sign for him being part of the rotation up front again any time soon.
