Denver Broncos: Significant injury updates after loss
Trevor Siemian, QB — Shoulder
In addition to playing the worst game he’s played this season, Trevor Siemian was hurt on Sunday night vs. the Giants.
Siemian was injured attempting to tackle Janoris Jenkins on his interception return for a touchdown prior to halftime, a play that had no chance of being made on the part of Siemian.
This is an especially concerning injury for Siemian given how long he was ailing from a shoulder injury last season, and the fact that it affected his ability to play the quarterback position significantly.
Siemian was replaced in this game briefly by Brock Osweiler, but returned for the second half and played out the rest of the game.
The Broncos wanted to check on him again Monday, but early reports indicate Siemian will be ready to play Sunday against the Chargers.
