
2. Thomas & Sanders get going
The Broncos’ passing offense hasn’t been great this season, at least not the last two games. In the first two weeks, the passing game was efficient, especially on third downs and in the red zone, but they have faltered in the team’s past two games.
One reason the Broncos’ passing offense isn’t really clicking is because teams are doing their best to take away the top two targets, Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
Sanders has a pair of touchdowns on the season, but we’re into week six of the NFL season and Demaryius Thomas doesn’t have a touchdown.
That’s got to change.
I think that both of these guys get some momentum going this week against the Giants, making a significant impact and showing what they can do as one of the most dynamic couple of receivers in the game.
