If you have yet to see Jake Wieneke play football, you’re missing out.
On October 7th, Wieneke tied a record of 50 receiving touchdowns in an FCS career, a mark previously held by Jerry Rice.
Any time you are matching or passing Jerry Rice in any record book, you’re doing something right.
Wieneke has been ultra productive at South Dakota State, but not just dominating deep downfield or due to a high volume of targets. He is a versatile receiver who has played very well against top competition, and proven himself as a worthy candidate for the NFL.
Wieneke has the ability to dominate in the red zone with his long frame, and shows great concentration on passes deep downfield. He makes tough catches over the middle of the field and doesn’t drop many passes.
