Demarcus Walker
The second round pick from Florida State has not seen a whole lot of action on the defensive side of the football in the first four games. This is quite surprising. However, when Shaquil Barrett returned from injury, Walker was reduced to a backup role.
Originally drafted as a defensive end, Walker has filled in some as an edge rusher. The question will be if he returns to defensive end once Shane Ray returns?
Pro Football Focus analytics tells us that Demarcus Walker has recorded one quarterback hit in eleven defensive snaps he’s been on the field.
Hopefully, we will get to see more of him as the season goes on. Because of his limited snaps, I will not be giving him a grade.
