1. Isaiah McKenzie, Punt Returner/Wide Receiver

As we alluded to earlier this week, rookie wide receiver/punt returner Isaiah McKenzie could be in line for a big game against the Giants.

In particular, this could finally be the game where McKenzie breaks a touchdown return, what we’ve all been waiting to see since he stepped foot on the field for the Broncos.

The Giants are the last ranked team in the league in net punting average, and a big reason for that is because they have given up the third most punt return yardage in the NFL.

The Giants are also one of only two teams to allow a punt return touchdown so far this season, along with the Houston Texans who just allowed one to Tyreek Hill this past weekend.

Also, the past two weeks, former Broncos cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has manned the slot for the Giants, and has allowed four receptions on four targets. Perhaps the Broncos look to exploit DRC with some of McKenzie’s quickness from the slot receiver position.

One way or another, I think this game could be a coming out party for the rookie out of Georgia.
